You Say It's Your Birthday?

Was it only a year ago that The Upstate Life unleashed itself out into the blogosphere, taking popular culture (and TUL's weekend activities) by the throat and ringing out what influential juices were left and transcribing them onto electronic paper? Well to answer your question my friends, then yes, The Upstate Life has officially turned one year old as of this past Saturday. Sure it began as an attempt to thwart Tale of Two Cities on letting people in on what really people cared out, the frequently ignored Upstate region of New York, but as this proved highly unsuccessful (coinciding with an eventual move down south to Maryland where the title of the blog would no longer carry any sort of relevance), the site began to flourish as a place where one could dolefully read about TUL's weekend rendezvous and other tidbits that one no else really found interesting other than TUL himself and maybe some stragglers who unwillingly came across the page while Googling the phrase ,"How to Roll Up Your Sleeves." Now that we've somehow entered our second year, what are we to expect of The Upstate Life in the coming future? Probably just the same old shit, but if we've made it this far, who knows what great heights we'll reach. Again, thanks for supporting The Upstate Life, all 14 of you.
