9:30 vs. 24
It's a relatively quiet day here at The Upstate Life what with the three day weekend coming up and all. If you're one of the unlucky few that actually have to go into work next Monday, well, as The DCeiver would probably say, shitcakes for you then. Duke goes down again! No riots a la College Park style, but another upset TUL will definitely savor even though it was accomplished by ACC contender Virginia Tech. Tale of Two Cities introduced us to the incredible time killer known as Gizoogle. Check out TUL converted into an ever dumber context than what you're reading right now! On deck for the weekend will be a beer tasting in Bethesda, an attempt to finally see Sideways on Sunday, and The Futureheads show at the 9:30 Club Monday night. I'm debating how long their set will be since their album clocks in at less than 37 minutes. Tickets are still available, but then again everyone (including myself) would be missing 24, so TUL easily understands the time conflict involved.
