Decemberists to Play Strathmore
Now that the band has got over their defeat to Stephen Colbert and his guitar-shredding abilities, The Decemberists are ready to launch a spring tour which is slated to begin in a couple of months. Colin Meloy and Co. will once again be returning to the DC area, however this time around the band will be performing at The Strathmore on Monday, March 26th according to the 'Fork. My Brightest Diamond will be supporting the group during the cross-country trek which kicks off in Jersey City, just five days prior from their North Bethesda date. Seriously though, they should just call it Rockville already. You don't know how many times people have said to me that they live in Bethesda only to find out that their apartment is way up the Pike. We just like to keep it real, that's all.
