Another Dose of More Fun with Health Insurance

So I went to the doctor recently for some routine blood work - a physician who is covered under my health insurance since I have an HMO (but do not need referrals). A month later, I receive a letter from Aetna stating that the blood tests were collected at a lab not covered by them and that they essentially want $500 from me. Um, WTF. I went to a provider under their plan in their network, so I should not be responsible for this exorbitant amount of money. If I knew the doctor was going to send my tests to some lab that my insurance wouldn't cover, I wouldn't have fucking gone there in the first place. I called Aetna a few minutes ago and they said they'll reprocess the claim. Damn straight. I mean, how am I supposed to buy an Xbox 360 thanks to shoddy claim processing?
