Terps Blow Huge Lead, Again

I should be used to this by now. Really, I should. But, for one reason or another, this one simply left me speechless. Adrian Bowie was playing out of his mind last night yet, sadly, it was all for naught as Miami staged a ridiculous comeback after the Terps blew a 17 point lead in the second half.

The first 20 minutes of the game was all Maryland. It was some of the finest basketball they've played all season and they really impressed me given the lack of big men on the squad. The second half rolls along and our offense begins to sputter, Miami is hitting 3's left and right, and all the aggressiveness the Terps possessed in the first half suddenly became nonexistent in a matter of minutes.

I can handle losses, but losing like this was like that horrific Clemson home game last season all over again. We could've finally won at Miami, something which we haven't done amazingly since 1970, yet Gary and Co. found a way to let the game slip from their hands. We could've started 2-0 in the conference, won our first true road game of the season, and gained some positive momentum going into ACC play after the Morgan State fiasco.

Anyway, Rachel was kind enough to send me this Someecard this morning to help cheer me up:
