Irish Blood, Un-American Heart

What can I say, Morrissey and controversy go together better than bagels and lox on a Sunday brunch. This time, the Moz described his sadness regarding the news of President Reagan's passing at a recent concert in Dublin, only to continue by saying he wished it was Bush Jr. instead! It's quite evident Bush isn't the one for him, fatty.

According to the Manchester Evening News newspaper, the star announced from the stage at Dublin Castle in Ireland the news that Ronald Reagan had died. After the announcement he reportedly said he?d rather it had been George W Bush.

A spokesman said: "We do not have a recording of the gig, but as far as we can tell, Morrissey was just alerting the audience to the fact that Ronald Reagan had died. He then simply followed that up with his comment about George Bush, which was his own opinion. He is no stranger to controversy."

Pitchfork put it best saying that "reports that Tom Ridge had raised the terrorist threat level to red were unconfirmed at press time."
