Yankee Hotel Cell-Block

According to Billboard, Wilco's A Ghost Is Born cracked the top 10 albums of this week's chart, bowing in at #8. Despite their (former) headlining bill on the now-cancelled Lollapalooza, Ghost sold 81,000 copies, their highest debut of any of the bands' albums to date. Speaking of Lollapalooza, Sonic Youth has bounced back harder from the festival's abandonment than Mystikal himself. The band will be doing a summer tour, hitting up some clubs through the end of August including a stop at the 9:30 on August 11th. Oh yeah, and today is the last day you can use your cell phone in DC while driving before they start issuing some costly citations. Starting July 1st, you'll have to think of another asshole excuse of cutting people off on the road.
