A Modest Announcement
So I was checking out the Modest Mouse webpage for the 2nd time yesterday to see if they were going to grace our nation's capitol with their indie rock presence only to find out they've subtlety scheduled an NYC show at the Hammerstein Ballroom for August 8th. Finally a credit for TUL with the breaking news, despite being a few hours late due to some Blogger maintenance that'll only kill the credibility of this hot scoop! The internet presale, that no one apparently seemed to know about, ended abruptly last night at 9pm (It started Monday morning, wtf???). Tickets will go on sale for the public Thursday at 10am for the majority of us that missed out on the spontaneous presale opportunity. Don't forget to add the $6.50 Ticketmaster "convenience" charge to your pricey but golden $24.50 ticket! Talks are already in progress with TUL logo designer Bri to score some tickets to the show while crashing at his new digs in NYC. I smell a Country Club 40oz pregame.
