Where Is My Presale?
Apparently 1987 is the new 1978, whatever that means. With the Beastie Boys, REM, and Morrissey all announcing tours this fall, this year's biggest comeback attraction is undoubtedly The Pixies. As previously mentioned, the band will be hitting up Constitution Hall on December 7 and 8 before they head to the NYC for a six (?!) show finale (or so we believe). So you might be asking, "Hey Upstate Life, how come the DC shows are the only ones that haven't gone on sale yet?" Well, how the hell would I know that? What I can tell you is that via www.pixiesmusic.com, tickets will be available on September 18th. The Bennies will be sharing the bill on both dates, while The Datsuns will open on 12/7 then TV on the Radio the following night. So far, there hasn't been any news on a presale, but you can keep checking here for a much delayed and probably elsewhere publicized update.
