Modest Mouse Flaunts Their Woodie
According to Billboard.com, Modest Mouse took home the apparently prestigious Woodie of the Year Award (Weren't those for standout porno performances?) during mtvU's inaugural Woodie Awards. In oh-so-hip translation, the award is essentially defined as an Artist of the Year honor. The Killers, the band that's indie rock and roll to TRL, took home Best Emerging Artist, aka The Breaking Woodie. Submissions of who can poke fun of that the most are more than welcome. You might even be able to hear a tear drop from Brandon Flowers' eye after each delightfully sarcastic comment.
