WaPo Spotlight on Interpol

There's an interesting article on Interpol in the Weekend section of today's Washington Post. For instance, I learned that Daniel Kessler graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, just a few blocks away from TUL's apartment. He also discusses the DC music scene as a source of inspiration, even listing Fugazi as his favorite band to this day. But from all that I've learned from reading this expose, one excerpt will always be remembered for a nice, short-term run inside my head:

Back at NYU in the fall of 1998, Kessler was enrolled in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, "which the Olsen twins go to now, so I'm really excited," he says.

Make of that what you will, but while you do that, please welcome Designs on You and Blue in the Face as the newest additions to those The Upstate Life is down with.
