It's Official - Arcade Fire Coming to DC in January!
Stop the mother effin presses, this one's a doozy. We here at The Upstate Life have just learned via the fine folks over at the 9:30 Forum that The Arcade Fire will be taking their critically acclaimed tour to DC on Sunday, January 30th at the 9:30 Club! We've also heard that tickets will be $12, but not sure when they will officially go on sale as of yet. One thing is for sure, this is certainly one concert you will surely not want to miss. TUL's Denver correspondent reported that their live show was "f-ing incredible" among other highly praised compliments. As always, TUL will let you know more when further details become available regarding this highly anticipated show. Commence crapping your pants in excitement. UPDATE - Tickets are apparently available through Tickets.com. However, there is currently no mention of it via the 9:30 website/box office. UPDATE #2 - To follow up, you can purchase tickets for The Arcade Fire show at the 9:30 box office. This was confirmed by The Upstate Life this afternoon when I went over there and bought myself a pair.
