It's been a relatively slow week out there in bloggerville. Maybe because we're in the midst of a holiday break, yet it appears that The Upstate Life is one of the few not taking time off from the office right now. Unfortunately, TUL found out one bit of disturbing news that he thought he would share with you all. It turns out one of TUL's latest blog finds has thrown in the towel for what was an amusing, and sometimes controversial run. That's right kids, The IJC has called it quits.
because i think i've said all there is to say about the ijc, this is going to be my last post.
the site has had a great run, but the idea has run its course and i'd like to end it now while it's still on a high note. to paraphrase trey, i love and respect my audience way too much to stand by and allow it to drag on beyond the point of vibrancy and health. i don't want to become a caricature of myself or worse yet, a nostalgia act.
No longer will The Upstate Life be able to plotz out of his chair laughing hysterically while reading the latest entries of those IJC's strolling down the streets of Murray Hill. God speed anonymous blogger, you'll be sorely missed (except for those several IJC'ers that wouldn't stop kvetching).
