Just Around the Bloc
Last night The Upstate Life was able to obtain a copy of Bloc Party's Silent Alarm LP thanks to ToTC's Joey and it's def not a bad album by any means. I'm not getting into it that much as of yet, but maybe it will take a few more listens to establish any sort of conclusion. It's been tipped via the 9:30 Forum that Handsome Boy Modeling School are coming to the 9:30 Club on Sunday, April 17th. Whoever this Lance Nichols character is I just want to congratulate him and say well done. Well done indeed. On tap this weekend for The Upstate Life is Sunday's highly anticipated Arcade Fire show. Demand for these tickets has been absolutely insane, but where did all these people come from when TUL bought them back in early December for $12 a piece at the box office? Oh well, just like Abby Bernstein said, "Ya snooze ya lose dude."
