Slint Stint
If yesterday's breaking news story wasn't enough, unless you read about it over at Seeking Irony a day earlier of course, then TUL will have to let you know that Slint's reunion tour is coming to the 9:30 Club as well. Tickets went on sale as of this morning and will cost $25 each. Unfortunately, The Upstate Life will be heading back to its roots from which the title of this blog originated for the weekend and will therefore not be able to attend the well-hyped Bluestate at Black Cat. But that doesn't mean you can't make it, come out and support your fellow DC-area bloggers for what will sure to be an excellent music-filled evening. TUL would be so gracious if you could honor his e-request of "Headlights Look Like Diamonds" by The Arcade Fire. Hell, I might even reward you with some Genesee beer from home for it. I guess you could say it's the Upstate equivalent of PBR!
