The Banquet is Sold Out
The Teenbeat Reunion at Black Cat broke all odds when the club officially announced that the concert would be sold out days prior to the show via its website. Now it appears lighting has struck twice as it appears that up and coming hype sensation Bloc Party, aka "that band whose name isn't The Arcade Fire", has finally sold out their April 9th show at the 14th Street venue. If you failed to escape your procrastinating ways and never snagged those $12 tickets ($15 through Ticketmaster - the route TUL traveled due to the Black Cat's highly limited box office hours of operation), then you my friend, are shit out of luck. Then again, there's always Craigslist and the 9:30 Ticket Exchange Forum, sure to be swarming with requests of selling souls and Interpol trade-offs now that the date of April 9th has some red, bold letters next to it on BC's schedule that are sure to disappoint many (but not TUL, 'natch).
