Interpol, Internet... It's All The Same
So, you didn't score tickets to the Interpol shows this weekend at the 9:30 Club and are stuck in your apartment on a Saturday night debating whether it's a good idea or not to order Chinese food from that place down the street you've had that $2 off coupon for that was left on your doorknob last week but never had the courage to call because, for one or reason or another, they sell subs and burgers, and you think that's just a bit shady. Well, instead of ordering a Footlong Tuna Melt over the General Tso's Combo Platter, you can rather pull up a chair in front of your computer and tune into NPR's All Songs Considered as they'll be streaming Saturday evening's Interpol concert live from the 9:30. The stream, which will also contain opener Blonde Redhead's performance, will begin around 7:45pm. Much to TUL's dismay, NPR denied my request for them to stream DJ Carlos D afterwards at the DC9 afterparty. (Note - the preceding request was in fact fictional/sarcastic and did not actually take place).
