Keeping It Like a Secret
The Upstate Life would like to give some props to GGW of the 9:30 Forum for cluing us in about Built to Spill's upcoming tour. This incredible piece of information was nowhere to be found on Pollstar, Pitchfork, or even the band's own website! TUL did some further blogger investigation and found out that not only were the dates legit, but tickets are already on sale even as we speak! NYC correspondent Bri was able to pick some up for us at the Irving Plaza box office last week on his way home from work for their Friday (5/13) show. Ticket prices vary from venue to venue, but if you were curious (and admit it, we knew you were), the New York shows cost a reasonable $19.50.
