The Upstate Life has just received word (give or take a few days, 'natch) that Modest Mouse will be playing at DAR Constitution Hall on Friday, June 17th. According to the "HFStival Guru" (whatever that means) that posted this incredibly juicy piece of information, tickets apparently go on sale this Saturday through Ticketmaster. TUL admits he rather much see the band at a smaller place such as 9:30 rather than at DAR, though their recent mainstream success may allow them to possibly sellout the venue. The only other time I've been to DAR was for the amazing Pixies concert, thought TUL hopes The Bennies won't be opening this time around when Modest Mouse rolls into town. Jeez were they awful.
