The Upstate Life is still lacking in the motor skills department this afternoon after last night's Mexican themed but not really festivities. I unfortunately didn't get to make it out to the DCist Happy Hour at Chief Ike's which apparently was a huge success. Way to go NM, Leafblower, and SOB! TUL apologies for his absence, he'll make it out to Bluestate one of these days, so keep your heads up fellow music/blogger aficionados. Speaking of which, I still need to get my LCD/MIA tickets. I've bestowed this responsibility to another since he'll be attending the sold out Decemberists show tonight. If you didn't score tickets, you can always throw on your flannel shirt, go back in time to the mid 90's, and see the Gin Blossoms at the University of Maryland's annual Art Attack festival. Oh who am I kidding, that event died ever since it was moved off of McKeldin Mall and into the cavernous Byrd Stadium.
