The Aristocrats, the highly anticipated and well-received comedy documentary, opened in theaters today, meaning that it premiered in New York and LA 'natch. The Upstate Life has been anxiously waiting to see this movie ever since CNN.com ran an article on how AMC refuses to show it in its theaters due to the unrated film's excessive raunchiness despite the fact its content is entirely derived from stand-up performances. After doing some of TUL's world-renowned research, the movie will be premiering in our neck of the woods two weeks from today on Friday, August 12. According to The Aristocrat's official website, E Street Cinema, the Georgetown 14, and Bethesda Row will be the theaters screening the movie in the DC area at this time. C'mon, you're not honestly going to see Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo that weekend are you, are you???
