Gilchrist De-pledges

After a speculated signing to the Greek A1 Kolossus squad, the undrafted John Gilchrist has officially signed a contract with Maccabi Rishon Letzion, a professional Israeli team. Gilchrist was picked up by the Cleveland Cavaliers summer league in June but was unable to secure himself a guard position on the NBA team after failing to impress the Cav's officials. His chances were further diminished after Cleveland acquired grizzled veteran Damon Jones. At least we here at TUL know we won't be finding Mr. Gilchrist at the College Park bars hitting on freshman girls anytime soon like other ex-Maryland players, *cough* Tahj *cough*. The real question is whether or not he'll able to enjoy falafel on a semi-daily basis.
