Still No Sign of the Wolf
LA correspondent Jeremy chimes in on Wolf Parade's West Coast stint at the El Rey last night: The show was so fuckin rad last night. You're going to love em when you do eventually see them. I mean, they use wind chimes! They unveiled some new songs, which were great. All around, I give it a 9. Would have been a 10 if I had never seen Arcade Fire or Wilco at 9:30. Damn them for messing up the curve! Still no word yet on tour dates for us on the East Coast side of things, but rest assured The Upstate Life will be holding it down when we do in fact find out when and where the guys behind TUL's #4 Album of 2005 will make their official DC debut. In the meantime, we'll try to maintain whatever is left of our sanity as today marks the final seven days before Lost ultimately resumes from where it left off about two decades ago.
