Gibbard Put Your Boots On
Because you, and more importantly, Franz Ferdinand, will be co-headlining a tour together this spring. And you know what? People in the DC area can have it so much better as they'll be making a stop here during their 22-day indie rock extravaganza. The Scots and Seattleites will be coming to town on Wednesday, April 11th, which in case you didn't notice, is just a day before that other show we're particularly excited about. We were banking on the fact that the Franiza Cab would be performing at the suckhole otherwise known as DAR, and you know what, we were right, obvs. Nonetheless, I'll still be attending, more so for Franz since they haven't performed in the area in nearly two long, long years. According to the Death Cab for Cutie listserv, there will be a presale starting next Tuesday at 1pm for the tour, so be sure to check their website for updates if you want to be just mere rows away from starting in awe at Ben Gibbard's enormous head.
