Return to the D(Sea)
For those of you who missed The Unicorns' only performance in DC at the Black Cat back in the day, where some band called The Arcade Fire or something opened, now's your chance to somewhat redeem yourself. Islands, the new band comprised of ex-Unicorns members Nick Diamonds and J'aime Tambour will be returning to 14th Street in headlining fashion on Tuesday, April 25th in support of their debut LP, Return to the Sea. Tickets will go onsale this Friday and will cost $12, which in comparison is $3 less than seeing the group open for Metric at the 9:30 Club on Thursday, March 9th. We'll be at the former rather than the latter, mostly because, you know, it's $3 less.
