Attention Rob Corddry Fans

Rob's movie, Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story, has finally been released into theaters. The Arlington Cinema Drafthouse is currently only one of five theaters in the entire nation offering Blackballed to the masses, so for those that reside in the DC Metro area, you better feel damn fortunate!

Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story, is the tale of paintball's first superstar.

June 12th, 1993, The Hudson Valley Paintball Classic, it was the darkest day in paintball history: the day that Bobby Dukes ("The Daily Show's" Rob Corddry) cheated.

While leading his team to their unprecedented fourth consecutive victory Bobby was shot. Desperate to stay in the game, Bobby intentionally wiped the paint from his jersey, thus committing paintball's most heinous crime -- "Wiping." An over zealous referee (Paul Scheer) spotted the wipe and ejected Bobby from the game. The three-time champ was banned from the sport and rejected by the paintball community. Deemed a cheater, disgraced and humiliated, Bobby disappeared.

Ten years later, the ban lifted, a well-traveled and more mature Bobby is back to prove himself on the field that made him famous. To his dismay he finds that no one will play with him. To them he still is and always will be a cheater. On the verge of giving up hope, Bobby joins forces with the most unlikely of allies; the referee that caught him cheating.

Assembling a team of misfits, Bobby is determined to win back his title and erase the tainted memory of his past.

Despite its limited distribution, Blackballed has already chalked up four awards including the 2004 SWSW Film Festival Audience Award. The Upstate Life will probably check it out this coming Tuesday, especially since they offer a "Two for Tuesday" special. That's just $2.75 per person! I'm so there.
