According to DCist, The Upstate Life should've ventured towards Northeast DC this morning in order to obtain some quality fuel at the incredibly affordable price of $2.90. Just my luck that this was only three miles away from where I filled up over in PG County where it cost $3.02/gallon, with my entire purchase coming out to a total of $42. Considering that I spent a mere three dollars more when I went to Giant last night for a week and a half's worth of groceries (Lean Cuisines are so clutch), this is somewhat perturbing. It's times like these where I want to take a golf club to the back of my roommate's kneecap for being able to walk to work from our apartment each and everyday.
