Adrian Bowie, Shane Walker Latest Commits for Maryland's '07 Class

Just a few weeks after Chuck Driesell was hired as one of Gary's assistant coaches, Maryland was able to lock up two more prospects for its 2007 class this past weekend.

Adrian Bowie, a 6-foot-3 junior shooting guard from Montrose Christian in Rockville, said he has committed orally to play basketball for the Terps. Shane Walker, a 6-10 power forward who played under first-year Terps assistant coach Chuck Driesell at Bishop Ireton in Alexandria, Va., also said he committed.

Walker and Bowie join Baltimore's Dino Gregory and Braxton Dupree as part of the Terps' 2007 class, which, in case you haven't noticed, is thus far entirely made up of local players. Two more scholarship spots remain for the 07 roster. Let's hope one of them eventually goes to Jeff Jones.
