Chevy Chase Bank To Pay Legal Fees, too?

While we try to get over the fact that Baxter will be spending two more months in jail due to his poor anger management tactics, on a more positive note regarding Maryland athletics, Chevy Chase Bank has purchased the naming rights for Byrd Stadium for a reported $20 million. The new name of the football stadium will be called... drum roll please... Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium. While this is a huge boost for the athletic department in its goal to help fund the 56 year-old stadium's scheduled expansion, I hope Chevy Chase realizes that everyone (including TUL) will still refer to it as simply Byrd. Just imagine being subjected to those "Flash Your Chevy Chase Bank card" contests, but instead of once a game, it would be after every play! But hey, maybe now they'll have enough money to paint those damn Carolina blue roofs red already:
