Whoo! Alright - Yeah...Uh Huh
So with The Rapture coming out with a new album and all, it got me thinking...weren't these guys originally part of the Lollapalooza lineup??? I didn't even realize that they weren't on the schedule until the very last day. After stumbling upon the band's forum, The Upstate Life found out why the group wasn't able to make it out to Chicago that weekend: Hello everyone. Unfortunately we are not going to be able to play Lollapalooza this year. We are really sorry about this and really hate canceling shows but we want to make sure that we finish our album in time, so it will still be released this fall. We are definitely going to be playing Chicago and surrounding cities this fall and probably many more times in the following year. The Rapture Well there you have it. A two and a half week-long mystery solved. We just wanted some closure on the matter, mostly because we're bored right now. Really bored.
