No Doy, City Paper, No Doy

The guys over at Rethink College Park wrote an excellent letter to the editor in response to the City Paper's "Shell of a Town" cover story. We were going to tear this article to shreds ourselves, but The DCeiver thankfully did it for us (and in glorious fashion). In all honestly, Mr. Morton should've spent a semester or two in CP before he wrote this worthless diatribe. It's funny, you know, since I and everyone else I know who went to Maryland, well, loved it. TUL's younger brother, who recently transferred from Albany this semester after spending two years at the upstate campus, said that his first month alone in College Park has already been nothing short of amazing and has transcended his past experiences up north both socially and (we'll throw it out there) academically. In fact, compared to Albany, he actually feels safer walking around the streets CP than at his former university, further proof that the shittiness of a city is clearly in the eye of the beholder.
