Wishful Thinking
Perhaps it was for the better that we're without a ticket for Wilco tonight. Although the offers, which ranged from $80 to well over $120, were indeed tempting, we've got principles damnit. Plus, while there's a shot we could land one outside the club before showtime, we're just not willing to risk it since, well, it's a fucking schlep. I mean, it's going to be pretty difficult that it'll actually top last year's show (which of course means, somehow, someway, they will 'natch). Anyway, at least I'll have the opportunity to watch the Mets capture the pennant tonight in glorious HD, and eat lots of Doritos. They don't have Doritos at the 9:30, so take that, you Dorito-less music venue!
