Sufjan to Play For Free at Kennedy Center

While we're not the biggest Sufjan Stevens fan, it is rather interesting to find out that the guy behind the 50 states project will be performing at the Kennedy Center here in DC on Monday, February 5th. The best part about it, you ask? How about the fact that it's free! Mr. Stevens will be accompanied by the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra for the hour-long performance, which is scheduled to start at 9pm according to Sufjan's website. Tickets for the event will not be available until January, but at least you won't have to save up for it. On the other hand, you could probably use that money to buy yourself a pair of khakis or some shit since an ironic t-shirt probably won't cut it inside the Opera House.
