Tonight, Tonight
Tonight marks the earliest start of Maryland Basketball in the program's history and I for one cannot be more excited. This year's team did not receive a single, solitary vote from the AP preseason poll, and given that the poll itself is essentially useless to begin with, I still see this as a positive thing. The Terps are going to have to earn their respect and work their way up the ladder, a journey that begins tonight at 8pm against Hampton in the opening round of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Of course, this evening's matchup is on the one ESPN channel nobody gets (ESPNU), but since I'll be at Broken Social Scene tonight anyway, I'll get over it. I'll just be the dude on the floor that's frantically checking his phone for the score every 30 seconds. Let's Go Maryland!
