Here's Your Future
The Thermals, whose album The Body, The Blood, The Machine will most certainly crack this year's TUL Top 10 of '06 (to be posted eventually), will be returning to the DC area for another show at the Black Cat on Friday, March 2 according to a savvy tipster over at the 9:30 Forum. Speaking of which, we were also alerted that The Rapture have just announced a date at Sonar on Friday, February 9. Considering that we passed up on their 9:30 show a few months to see Cold War Kids at DC9 that very same night instead, we just might have to make the trip up to Charm City. Still, we're hoping for another DC date since, you know, we're lacking any sort of desire to make the 40 minute drive up north. Translation = TUL is just plain lazy.
