So Much for That DVR Scheduling Conflict
What happens when a show starts getting good again? You cancel it, 'natch. The fourth season of The OC has surprisingly exceeded my expectations despite being scheduled against Grey's Anatomy which ultimately brought the show to its death knell. Fox has decided to cancel The Upstate Life's guilty pleasure teen-soap drama due to shitty ratings which, in itself, was due to an even shittier time slot. It's bad enough that the show was scheduled against Grey's, but with Scrubs and 30 Rock also accompanying that very same primetime hour? Forget about it. We're quietly pouring one out at our desk for the show which will conclude on Thursday, February 22. Thanks a lot Fox. First Arrested Development, now this? Oh, and your NFL BCS on Fox coverage was awesome, by the way. Suggestion - don't let Terry Bradshaw call anymore games, please. Thanks.
