Gary Williams = ACC Coach of the Year
Say what you want about the man, but Gary Williams IS Maryland Basketball. It was evident last night by his emotional post-game interview after defeating the former #5 team in the land. The amount of passion Gary has for this program is what makes this coach so special. It sickens me that boneheads like this douche would call for his head. Props to Steele for calling out the fair-weather fans, too. GW took the Terrapins from 2-5 to 8-6, in the frickin ACC no less (not like that Big 10 crap. 49-48??? Come on). He never gave up and he never doubted his team's potential. For crying out loud, we beat both Duke and North Carolina this season. It just feels so good to actually be a lock for the tourney. The Terps (and The Upstate Life) are riding high. Bring on Duke.
