Maryland. So Hot Right Now.
And that's a sweep. Scott Van Pelt wrapped up last night's game perfectly, especially when he pointed out the absurdity that Maryland was left unranked this week. Thankfully we were at a bar last night and didn't have to hear the incessant ramblings of Mike Patrick and Dukie V, but we did have to endure the horrendous technical difficulties by ESPN during the last few minutes of the when the video signal kept cutting out during the final minutes. Anyway, this season has been become one of Gary's finest coaching achievements. The Terrapins have become the first team in ACC history to start 2-5 and finish the season with a winning record. Just think, if Maryland wins on Saturday against NC State in their season finale, the Terps would be 7-0 against every single Carolina basketball team this year. That's just downright nuts.
