Dear Montgomery County Parking Enforcement,

Next time you decide to leave me a ticket under my windshield, please feel free to notify me of why the fine is now $50 as opposed to the $35 last time I received said violation. A flyer, poster, mailer, or hell, even an Internet page listing violations and their respective fines would be helpful, but I guess in the meantime you can charge me whatever amount you so desire. I really don't know how a county government can increase its parking violation fees without any advance notice whatsoever, but then again, that's MoCo for you! At least your tickets are uploaded into the online payment system within three days, you know, as opposed to twenty.
