A Little More for Little You

The Hives, who are opening for Maroon 5 out of all people on Tuesday, October 16 at the Verizon Center, will be playing the Black Cat (!) the very next night. They'll be on tour supporting their new album, The Black and White Album, which comes out in the US on Tuesday, October 9. In other just announced news, in case you were at the Virgin Fest and heard Dan Deacon mention about how he and Girl Talk will be playing The Ottobar next month, the duo will actually be performing at the 2640 Space in Bmore on Tuesday, September 18 instead. Tickets are $15 and are already on-sale. We've already got our tix to the Black Cat show the following night but if you take a look at the pics of the 2640 Space it sounds like it'd be a pretty cool venue to see Dan Deacon spazzing out, you know, since it's inside a church and all.
