Man, this movie had so much potential. Even though the bar was raised so high after Wet Hot American Summer, I left the theater more disappointed than I should've been. It had all the makings of a great film but lightning didn't strike twice despite the intriguing premise and great cast. Don't get me wrong, The Ten certainly had its moments (the competing neighbors and their CAT scan machine acquisitions plus the entire Winona Ryder segment), but as a whole it just did not deliver. Here's hoping that Superbad meets the positive press it's receiving thus far, that is if I'll actually be able to see it tonight. The trek from PG County to Arlington alone is going to screw me.
