The Long of It / The Short of It
Just a heads up that tickets for The Decemberists four day residency at the 9:30 Club starting November 9th through the 12th go on-sale tomorrow morning at 10am via Tickets.com. They're even offering two day passes for Friday/Saturday and Sunday/Monday if you want to catch both "The Long of It" and "The Short of It" sets. On an unrelated note, Happy Birthday DCist! I remember when Mike Grass hinted at something big at the time in one of his posts on The Washington Oculus back in '04. Who knew three years later DCist would go on to hire a full-time employee, host concerts, and be voted as Washingtonian's favorite blog. Sure, I'm a little bitter about not hearing back about being a contributor for University of Maryland sports happenings (hey, it was worth a shot), but I'll get over it. OK, I lied. I need closure, damnit.
