How Bout Them Terps?
What a turnaround by Gary, huh? Dude is hands down one of the best coaches in the country and this season easily demonstrates why. I remember when I was home last December frantically checking my Blackberry during the Terps/American debacle and nearly threw the handheld device out the window. Maryland, a team that was left for dead at 6-6 at the end of 2007, is now an NCAA tournament contender at 16-8. Honestly, this team is so much fun to watch. Watching them clean the floor against NC State last Saturday night (in the gold jerseys, no less) is like night and day from how they were playing just more than a month ago.
