South Street Steaks Finally Opens Bethesda Location

Remember when I was getting all cised for South Street Steaks newly-announced downtown Bethesda location? Well, after a year and half of construction delays and permit holdups, it appears South Street Steaks' newest location on Cordell Avenue is finally open for business!

We were invited to their soft opening last Sunday and, just like their food at their College Park and Gaithersburg locations, the cheesesteaks were intensely gratifying. Be sure to check them out as they're the closest thing you can get to a real cheesesteak outside of Philly. Their fries are some of the best in the area, too. I'm pretty sure I knocked off a year or two of my lifespan after devouring a cheesesteak trio with whiz followed by the rest of Rachel's chicken cheesesteak (also with whiz). Yeah, I'm disgusting.
