Spoon Show @ GWU NOT Open to Public

George Washington Unviersity's inaugural Fountain Fling concert, which is to be held this Saturday and features an afternoon performance by Spoon, will NOT be open to the public according to a comment left on the Hatchet by the event's planning committee:

Unfortunately, the Spoon performance is not open to the public, however all GWU undergrad and graduate students with valid GWorld identification have the opportunity to bring one accompanying guest.

The Fountain Fling event is a joint effort of Program Board and Mount Vernon Programming Council. Over the last five months, this group of students has put a substantial amount of time, energy and dedication into planning a spectacular day — we're overjoyed to know you're as excited as we are.

Thank you for your compliments and support, and we appreciate all the kind words. In the next week, we encourage you to reach out to friends and students at the George Washington University and express your interest in attending.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any remaining questions. Thanks, and we hope to see you there!

The Fountain Fling Planning Committee
On behalf of GWPB and MVCL

So if you know anyone that is a current (or even former) student at GW and has their GWorld ID card, there's your ticket for admission.
