Weezer, Blink 182, Gallons of Reactionary Vomit Pretty Much Confirmed for Virgin Fest

Say it ain't so.

Upon reading Pitchfork this afternoon, I happened to glance upon Weezer's summer tour dates with (nobody-really-seems-to-care-they-reunited) Blink 182 and, low and behold, the Washington DC date on August 30 (with a venue listed as TBD) falls on a weekend.

This pretty much establishes the fact that Weezer and Blink will headline this year’s horribly toned-down rendition of the Virgin Fest which is rumored to be held at Merriweather.

For patrons of past Virgin Festivals, this has to be a huge disappointment. I won't write it off completely, but IMP really needs to step up the remaining lineup if this truly is the case.
