To follow up with yesterday's post, TUL graphics extraordinaire Bri took it upon himself to buy some tix for the Modest Mouse show that went onsale this morning and now it looks like The Upstate Life will make its presence felt once again in the N.Y.C. Also doin' the cockroach will be Joey of ToTC notoriety. I owe the guy a drink though after he introduced me to Hollertronix. These dudes somehow mix "Project Bitch" with "Tainted Love" only to segue to "Thug for Life", yet it all sounds so cohesive. Did I mention this all occurs within one track? Yeah, it's pretty sick. The mixtape is called Never Scared, so do yourself a favor and check out all of its mashed up goodness. They're probably the first group to sample The Clash's "Rock the Casbah" and not bury it into the ground, thank you very much Will Smith and "Willenium."
