Let the Summer Presale Season Begin!
OK, so even though we called that shit a couple months ago, The Upstate Life can officially confirm that Belle and Sebastian will be returning to the area as part of a blockbuster triple billing at Merriweather on Saturday, July 8th. Not only will the Scottish twee superstars be headlining, but they'll also be supported with the likes of Broken Social Scene and Ted mother-fuckin' Leo. Seriously, how great of a lineup is that? According to the B&S website, tickets will go on-sale to the general public at 10am via Ticketmaster. Additionally, if you're just in it for the lawn seats (because face it, those orchestra seats will be gone faster than Vito's plate of Johnny Cakes), you can buy tickets in person at both the 9:30 Club and Merriweather box offices for a mere $1 service fee. Finally, there will also be an online presale this coming Wednesday at 10am. As of press time, a password has not been issued, but for sereal, don't expect to see it posted here anyway.
