So at exactly 10am I made my long-awaited Belle and Sebastian purchase. I was able to secure seats dead-center, 11 rows back (Row R) from the general admission pit (The Upstate Life doesn't feel like standing all night, deal with it). I was kind of surprised that the first 10 rows were already gone, and since we wanted to make sure we obtained the best available seats, we went to double-check and make sure. Low and behold, seats for the right-center section fourth row back from the pit were available for the taking, and we were forced to deal with a serious question. "Should we buy tickets seven rows closer (Row K) and try to sell our previous group of seats?" Surely people are willing to buy excellent pavilion tickets for at least face value, right??? Well, we pulled the trigger and now have two separate ticket orders for a show that hasn't even officially gone on sale to the public yet. This $300 credit card charge isn't looking too pretty right about now.
