Somehow, someway, I was successfully able to drive from PG County through Downtown DC to, finally, the Arlington Cinema Drafthouse and still arrive in enough time to procure a seat to the theater's advance free screening of Superbad last night. It certainly made up for The Ten's shortcomings and I'd even see it a second time, but that's mostly because I was kind of distracted by ordering/eating food, paying the waitress, etc. It wasn't the funniest movie ever by any stretch but it was certainly damn enjoyable. I definitely liked it better than Knocked Up (which is really becoming overrated the more I think about it), but the any scene with Michael Cera and Jonah Hill onscreen together really makes this movie shine. We'll probably hear McLovin references at the bar for the next year or so but there are some great lines in the film. So, yeah, I'm an awesome critic and all but I definitely recommend you check it out.
